What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) watches the link to the remote digital audio receiver (RDAR). The fault code is set when the ICM logs a communication error with it, and digital radio then stops functioning.
Possible causes
- A fault inside the RDAR unit
- The remote digital audio receiver (RDAR) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether digital radio works after a test drive
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; fuse locations are listed in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check with diagnostic equipment that the RDAR module is fitted and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the remote digital audio receiver (RDAR)
