What does this fault code mean?
The ICM checks whether any button on the right-hand keypad has stuck. The fault code is set when a button is registered as pressed for longer than normal, and the buttons on that keypad may then stop working.
Possible causes
- A right-hand keypad button was held down longer than normal
- A button has jammed in the pressed position
- Short circuit inside the keypad
What you can do
- 1Try each button on the right-hand keypad and check that it returns to its resting position without binding
- 2Look for dirt around a button or an object stopping it from springing back
- 3Read the code, clear it and check whether it returns once the buttons have been tried
- 4If a button does not spring back, the keypad needs replacing; have a workshop do this
