What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) checks whether the POWER button has jammed. The fault code is set when the button is registered as pressed in for too long, and the keypad buttons may then stop working.
Possible causes
- The POWER button has been held pressed for too long
- The POWER button is jammed in the pressed position
What you can do
- 1Press the POWER button a few times and check that it returns without sticking
- 2Look for dirt around the button or an object stopping it from springing back
- 3Read the code, clear it and check whether it returns once the button has been tried
- 4A POWER button that stays down means the keypad has to be swapped, which a workshop should do
