What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) monitors the heating of the LCD display. The fault code is set when the heating voltage is too low or missing, and the display then lights slowly, especially in cold weather.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance
- Open circuit in the wire
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether the display lights normally after the car has stood in the cold
- 2Check the connectors at the display and the infotainment control module for contact resistance, oxidation and play
- 3Look for damage on the wire to the display heating and use a multimeter to check that it is not broken
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the infotainment control module (ICM)
