What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) monitors the supply voltage to the infotainment keypad. The code is set when the module finds that this supply is shorted to earth while the module is powered. The keypad on the centre console then stops working.
Possible causes
- Short to earth in the supply to the keypad
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2Try the buttons on the centre console and note which ones respond and which do not
- 3Use a multimeter to confirm the supply wire to the keypad is not shorted to earth (the body). Also check that the connectors are seated firmly and free from oxidation
- 4If the wire is intact, the keypad itself may be damaged and need replacing. Have a workshop assess this
Symptoms you may notice1
