What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) monitors the supply voltage to the infotainment keypad while the module is switched on. The code is set when that supply is shorted to supply voltage or the wire is broken. The keypad on the centre console then does not work.
Possible causes
- Short to supply voltage in the keypad supply
- Open circuit in the keypad supply
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2Press the buttons on the centre console and note which ones respond
- 3Use a multimeter to check the keypad supply wire for continuity and for unwanted voltage. Check the connectors are seated firmly and free from oxidation
- 4If the wire is intact, the keypad may be faulty and need replacing. A workshop should judge this
Symptoms you may notice1
