What does this fault code mean?
ICM takes its data from the RSE over MOST and checks its connection to the television module (TVM). The code is set when there is no communication with the TVM. The causes listed are a broken or shorted wire, or poor contact in the connections, and the TV then does not work.
Possible causes
- Break in the wire used for this communication
- Wire used for this communication shorted to earth
- Wire used for this communication shorted to supply voltage
- Contact resistance, oxidation or a break in the connections
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact, and read the fault codes in the other modules
- 2Check the connectors and wiring to the TV module for oxidation, loose connections and chafing
- 3Clear the fault code and test-drive the car. If it returns, a workshop should follow up the fault
- 4If lost-communication codes exist in several modules, work through them first. Otherwise a workshop should examine the TV module and its wiring
