What does this fault code mean?
ICM monitors the link to the Bluetooth phone module (BPM). Although the code is labelled telephone control module, it is the Bluetooth phone that is affected. The code is set when ICM registers a communication fault, and the Bluetooth phone then does not work.
Possible causes
- Internal fault inside the Bluetooth phone module (BPM)
- No Bluetooth phone module (BPM) fitted
- Damaged fuse
- Break in the MOST cable
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes. If codes for a MOST break are stored, work through those first
- 3Check that the MOST connectors to the Bluetooth module are clean and firmly seated
- 4If the fault remains, a workshop may need to check the Bluetooth phone module and the MOST cable
