What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) has detected a communication problem with the accessory USB unit (AUU). The code is generic and does not say what type of fault it is. The USB function in the car then does not work. The code is set when the control module detects the fault.
Possible causes
- Defect inside the accessory USB unit (AUU)
- Accessory USB unit (AUU) missing
- Blown fuse
- Open circuit in the MOST cable
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the accessory USB unit (AUU) is fitted and that its connectors are seated and clean
- 3Look for damage to the MOST cable between the control modules, such as chafing or kinks
- 4Clear the code, switch the ignition on for a while and check that it is not stored again
- 5If the fault remains: have a workshop troubleshoot the control module that sends the signal to the accessory USB unit, and replace the unit if needed
