What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) confirms that the MOST network is closed, which is required for communication to be possible. The code means the network is complete but no communication takes place. The code is generic and does not say what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Dirt or damage at the connection for the MOST cable
- Open circuit in the MOST cable
- Damaged MOST transceiver in one of the control modules on the network
- A control module on the MOST network has no power supply
- Blown fuse
- Damaged control module on the MOST network
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the MOST connectors are clean and seated
- 3Look for chafed or pinched sections of the MOST cable between the control modules
- 4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check which control modules on the network respond, since a damaged control module or transceiver cannot be seen from outside
- 5Switch the ignition on for a while after the repair and check that the code is not stored again

- The phone has no function or limited function
- On older S80 (07-), V70 (08-) and XC70 (08-) built before late August 2008: the radio does not work
