What does this fault code mean?
The electric rear axle drive control module (IEM) requests that the clutch be opened, but the clutch control for the electric rear axle (DCC) does not act on the request. The fault is set in gear D or R. The causes are a software fault or an internal fault in the DCC, or mechanical damage to the clutch in the rear axle. Vehicle speed is then limited.
Possible causes
- Software fault in the clutch control for the electric rear axle (DCC)
- Internal fault in the clutch control for the electric rear axle (DCC)
- The clutch in the electric rear axle has mechanical damage
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop download new software to the clutch control for the electric rear axle and check the clutch. High voltage systems may only be handled by qualified personnel
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the fault codes after a drive in gear D or R and see whether the code is set again
- 3Do not carry out any work on the clutch or the electric rear axle yourself
- 4After the repair, check that the code is not stored again and that vehicle speed is no longer limited
