What does this fault code mean?
The high voltage generator control module (IGM) monitors its internal components and related functions. The code is stored when the module detects an internal fault in the microprocessor.
Possible causes
- A software fault in the control module
- A fault inside the voltage converter ISC
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 3Have a workshop check the control module and whether the latest software should be downloaded
- 4The high voltage system may only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out the work
Symptoms you may notice5
- Text message and warning symbol in the display
- The generator and charge regulator cause power supply problems
- Charging of the high voltage battery stops, is reduced, or does not work correctly while driving
