What does this fault code mean?
This code applies to cars configured for the Japanese market, where the infotainment head unit (IHU) is set up for DSRC. The head unit communicates with the ETC device for electronic toll collection over USB. The code is stored when the control module detects a hardware fault in the ETC device.
Possible causes
- A memory fault in the ETC device (EEPROM, RAM or ROM)
- A fault in the radio communication module in the ETC device

- 1Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 3Since there is no fault-tracing for this specific code, have a workshop check the ETC device if the fault comes back
