What does this fault code mean?
The USB device connected to the car is checked by the infotainment head unit (IHU). The code is stored when the USB interface in the car stops working, meaning the car's USB connection cannot be used.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal wires
- The USB accessory is not compatible with the car
- The infotainment head unit (IHU) is damaged
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns when you reconnect the USB device
- 2Try another USB accessory in the socket to rule out that the accessory is the incompatible part
- 3Check that the fuses are intact
- 4Check the USB cable and socket for chafing, damage and loose connections
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the signal wires and the head unit
