What does this fault code mean?
The head unit (IHU) monitors the signal to antenna amplifier 1 for AM/FM1. The code is stored when the voltage on the signal wire is too high or when no video signal is present.
Possible causes
- The signal cable is short-circuited to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check the wiring to the amplifier for chafing, and for places where it may have touched a live wire
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the amplifier is not short-circuited to supply voltage
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the amplifier and the wiring further
