What does this fault code mean?
The head unit (IHU) checks the voltage in the signal wire to antenna amplifier 1 for AM/FM1. The code is stored when the voltage on the signal wire is too low, which may be caused by a break in the wire to the amplifier.
Possible causes
- A break in the signal wire
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then check whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check that the connectors in the wiring to the amplifier are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the amplifier has no break
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the amplifier and the wiring further
