What does this fault code mean?
The head unit (IHU) measures the voltage on the signal wires to the AUX output. The code is stored when the signal wire has too low a voltage, which is a sign of a short-circuit to ground.
Possible causes
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns while nothing is connected to the AUX input
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Disconnect the accessory from the AUX input and see whether the code clears
- 4Check the AUX cable's connectors and the cable itself for damage, especially at the ends
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the AUX output and the wiring further
Symptoms you may notice1
- The AUX panel does not work
