What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment head unit (IHU) monitors communication with the audio module (AUD). The code is stored when communication with the AUD is disturbed, and the check runs with the ignition in position II.
Possible causes
- An internal fault in the audio module (AUD)
- The audio module (AUD) is missing
- A blown fuse
- A break in the MOST wire
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then check whether it comes back
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3If the fault code IHU-U1A2400 is set in the head unit, start with that one
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the MOST wire and the audio module further
