What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment head unit (IHU) monitors communication with the TV module (TVM). The code is stored when communication with the TVM is lost, and the check runs with the ignition in position II.
Possible causes
- The TV module (TVM) has an internal fault
- The TV module (TVM) is missing
- The communication line is short-circuited to supply voltage
- A blown fuse
- A break in the MOST wire
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then check whether it comes back
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3If the fault code IHU-U1A2400 has been set in the head unit, start the fault tracing there. The fault may be a break in the MOST network
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the TV module and the communication line further
