What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment head unit (IHU) monitors communication with the digital radio reception module (DABM/RDAR). The code is stored when communication with that module is faulty, and digital radio cannot be used.
Possible causes
- An internal fault in the digital radio reception module (DABM/RDAR)
- The digital radio reception module is missing
- A blown fuse
- A break in the MOST wire
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then check whether it comes back
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3If the fault code IHU-U1A2400 is set in the head unit, check that first, as the fault may be a break in the MOST network
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop trace the digital radio module and the MOST wire further
