What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment head unit (IHU) checks its internal components. The code is stored when the software is faulty or when part of the software is missing.
Possible causes
- The head unit has not been programmed with software
- The software download has not been fully completed
- The software is faulty
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns after the ignition is switched on
- 2Has the car recently had a new head unit fitted? Tell the workshop, as the software then needs to be downloaded
- 3Have a workshop load the newest software version into the infotainment head unit
- 4The owner cannot fix this alone, so have a workshop carry out the software download
