What does this fault code mean?
The multimedia module (MMM) monitors the DVD player. The code is set when the module registers abnormal DVD player function and the player cannot carry out the requested task, for example when a disc is inserted.
Possible causes
- Poor output signal quality or unstable disc rotation from the DVD player
- Software fault in the control module
- An internal fault has been found in the module itself
- Damaged multimedia module (MMM)
What you can do
- 1Try playing a DVD in good condition and see whether it starts and plays
- 2Erase the code and check whether it returns
- 3The fault may sometimes be fixed with new software in the module; have a workshop carry out the update
- 4If the fault returns after a software update, have a workshop replace the multimedia module (MMM)
- 5After a replacement the module needs a little mixed driving before the traffic information is correct
