What does this fault code mean?
The multimedia module (MMM), which contains the DVD player, has detected an internal fault when the DVD player was activated. The player is unable to do what it is asked, and on cars where the navigation reads map data from a disc, navigation is affected too.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the multimedia module
- A one-off disturbance, if the fault has only occurred once
What you can do
- 1Try a different disc that is clean and undamaged
- 2Clear the code and see whether it returns
- 3If the fault returns or is permanent, the multimedia module needs replacing
