What does this fault code mean?
The multimedia module (MMM) monitors its own temperature. The code can be set at high ambient temperatures, and the module may then switch itself off so that the navigation and the display stop working.
Possible causes
- Ambient temperature too high
- Power consumption too high in the module
- Damaged multimedia module (MMM)
What you can do
- 1Let the car cool down and check whether the navigation and the display work again
- 2Erase the code and check whether it returns, especially in warm weather
- 3Do not replace the multimedia module just because the code is stored; replacement is only relevant when functions are affected, and then a workshop should do it
- 4If the functions still do not work once the car has cooled, have a workshop check the module
