What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns the green LED lamp in the charging socket, which the battery charger control module (OBC) monitors. It is set when the circuit for the lamp is short-circuited to ground or overloaded, and the lamp may then give a wrong signal or show reduced charging.
Possible causes
- Short circuit to ground or overload in the circuit to the LED lamps
What you can do
- 1Look for visible damage to the green lamp in the charging socket
- 2Have a workshop measure the wires to the green LED lamp against ground and check they are undamaged
- 3Do not work on the charging system wiring yourself; it is a high-voltage system and a job for a workshop
