What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns the LEDs in the charging socket and is set when their circuit is short-circuited to supply voltage or overloaded. An incompatible charging cable may also be the cause.
Possible causes
- An incompatible charging cable is used
- Short circuit to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Check that the charging cable is the right one for the car; an incompatible cable can cause the fault
- 2Have a workshop check damage to the LEDs and the wires in the charging socket, where they may have touched a live supply
- 3Have a workshop check the LED wires and the wires between the charging socket and the OBC
- 4The wiring in the charging system belongs to the high-voltage section and should be left to a workshop
Symptoms you may notice1
- The LED lamp in the charging socket signals a fault or reduced charging
