What does this fault code mean?
The code indicates an internal fault in the working memory (RAM) of the battery charger control module, and does not say more precisely what the fault is. The fault lies in the module itself.
Possible causes
- The control module has an internal memory fault
- Internal fault in the RAM memory
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off, wait a moment and switch it on again; check whether the code is still there
- 2If the code does not clear after the restart, have a workshop replace the battery charger control module
- 3Do not work on the battery charger or its wiring yourself; it belongs to the high-voltage system and is a job for a workshop

- Warning symbol and text message shown in the display
- Charging of the high voltage battery from an external cable does not work or works poorly
- The lamp in the charging socket signals a fault or reduced charging
