What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns an internal fault in the ROM memory of the battery charger control module, the memory where the program is stored. The fault therefore lies in the module rather than in the charging cable.
Possible causes
- Memory fault in the ROM memory
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition off and on again and see whether the code is still there
- 2If the code does not clear after the restart, have a workshop replace the battery charger control module
- 3The charger belongs to the high-voltage section, so leave all work on it to a workshop

- Warning symbol and text message shown in the display
- Charging of the high voltage battery from an external cable does not work or works poorly
- The lamp in the charging socket signals a fault or reduced charging
