What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns an internal fault in the EEPROM of the battery charger, the memory that keeps settings even when power is off. It can arise when the memory is being programmed or read.
Possible causes
- Fault when programming or reading the EEPROM memory
What you can do
- 1Restart the car and read the codes to see whether the battery charger fault comes back
- 2If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the battery charger control module
- 3Do not work on the high-voltage system yourself; the battery charger belongs to it and should be handled by a workshop

- Charging from an external cable is missing or works poorly
- The lamp in the charging socket signals a fault
