What does this fault code mean?
The parking camera module (PAC) communicates with the camera over a LIN bus. If it receives faulty data, for example data with an incorrect checksum, the code is set.
Possible causes
- Loose connection at the video cable to the camera or the module
- Damaged wire
- Camera has no power supply
- Damaged camera
What you can do
- 1Check the fuses for the parking camera and the parking assistance
- 2Check the video cable connection to the camera and the module for looseness and damage
- 3Check that the camera shows a picture when reverse gear is selected
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the camera and cable connectors with diagnostic equipment
