What does this fault code mean?
The parking assistance camera module (PAC) receives data from the camera. The fault is set when the received data is incorrect. The fault can come from a loose connection in the video cable joint, a damaged wire, the camera having no power or a damaged camera.
Possible causes
- Loose connection in the video cable joint to the camera or control module
- Damaged wire
- The camera has no power
- Damaged camera
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and that the connectors at the camera connection are firmly seated and not oxidised
- 2Clear the fault code and test drive with reverse gear engaged to see whether it comes back
- 3Have a workshop check the camera's power supply and the camera, and replace the camera if it is damaged
