What does this fault code mean?
The parking assistance camera module (PAC) should be told the car's current setup by the central electronic module (CEM). The fault is set when the configuration file from the CEM does not arrive in time. It is caused by the communication with the CEM being interrupted, and the parking camera does not work while the fault remains.
Possible causes
- Communication with the central electronic module (CEM) is interrupted
What you can do
- 1Erase the fault code and test drive the car. If it comes back, the communication with the CEM is probably still interrupted
- 2Check that the connectors on the CAN wires are firmly seated and not oxidised
- 3Have a workshop trace the fault in the CAN network between the parking camera and the central electronic module (CEM)
Symptoms you may notice1
