What does this fault code mean?
The parking assistance camera module (PAC) receives signals over the CAN network that are not correct. The fault is set when the signals are wrong, and the cause is an internal fault in the control module. The fault shows on the front display, where the picture can be single-colour or missing, or where the guide lines do not follow the steering wheel.

What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Erase the fault code and test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 3Have a workshop check the parking camera. The internal fault cannot be fixed by you

- Front and rear park assist does not work

- The control module for the front display (HLDF) shows a single-colour picture
- The control module for the front display (HLDF) shows no picture
- The guide lines that show the car's position sideways are drawn completely straight, whatever the steering wheel angle
