Volvo models this fault code applies to
Applies to the following models:
4 modelsS60 (2011–), V60 (2011–), V60 Cross Country (2015–), XC60 (2009–)
Show models by year and engine (4)
What does this fault code mean?
The parking assistance camera module (PAC) checks its own system voltage all the time and compares it with the one reported by the central electronic module (CEM). The fault is set when the local voltage in PAC is lower than the system voltage in the CEM, and it can come from loose connections, oxidation, open or short circuits in the wires, or a damaged PAC. The parking camera does not work while the fault remains.
Possible causes
- Loose connection or oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit or short circuit in the wires
- Damaged parking assistance camera module (PAC)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and that the connections to the parking camera are firmly seated and not oxidised
- 2Erase the fault code and test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 3Have a workshop measure the wires to the parking camera and replace the camera if it is damaged
Symptoms you may notice1
- The parking camera does not work
