What does this fault code mean?
The parking assistance module (PAM) checks its own internal components. The fault code is stored when an internal part does not work and an incorrect value remains for longer than a set time.
Possible causes
- Damaged parking assistance module (PAM)
- Software missing or wrong in the parking assistance module (PAM)
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuse for the parking assistance is intact
- 3Check the connectors at the parking assistance module for looseness and oxidation
- 4If the fault returns despite these checks, have a workshop check the software or replace the parking assistance module (PAM)
