What does this fault code mean?
The parking brake module (PBM) continuously receives information from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN bus and checks its quality. The fault code is stored when the CEM reports a lower quality than the parking brake module accepts.

- Fault in the central electronic module (CEM), which sends the incorrect information
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and check after a while whether it comes back
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check whether the CEM has more fault codes for communication
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop troubleshoot the central electronic module (CEM) and its communication
- 4The parking brake is a safety function: have a workshop check it if it does not work as it should
