What does this fault code mean?
The parking brake control module (PBM) checks its internal components. The fault code is stored when the internal components do not work, and The cause is that the control module is damaged.

What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive the car using the parking brake to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the parking brake control module is firmly fitted and that its connectors are clean and tight
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the parking brake control module (PBM)
- 4The parking brake is a safety function: have a workshop check it if it does not work as it should
