What does this fault code mean?
The control module registers that the signal supply to the mirror lamp is too high, even though it has not asked for the lamp to light. The fault code is set when this happens. The cause is a signal wire shorted to voltage.
Possible causes
- The signal wire is shorted to voltage
What you can do
- 1Check whether the lamp in the power mirror lights up and goes out
- 2Look for chafing on the wire to the mirror lamp and check that the lamp holder is not shorted
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop check the connectors and replace the lamp in the power mirror if needed
Symptoms you may notice1
- Near-side lighting does not work
