What does this fault code mean?
The control module has flagged an internal fault, since the first window position initialization was not done at the workshop. Without it the automatic window operation does not work. The fault is remedied by initializing the window.
Possible causes
- The initialization of the window position has not been carried out
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on, press the window switch two steps up and check whether the automatic window operation works
- 2Move the window manually to its upper position before initializing
- 3Have a workshop carry out the initialization of the window position
- 4On cars from 2003 onwards the window drops a short way during initialization and then rises again. This is normal
- 5Afterwards, check that the automatic window operation works and that the fault code does not return
