What does this fault code mean?
The control module has registered a break in the signal wire to the mirror motor, on the right or left side, while the function is being used. The door mirror control then does not work.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal wire for the mirror left and right movement
- Blown fuse
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuse for the mirror is intact and replace it if it is blown
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire for the mirror left and right movement has no open circuit
- 3Look for damage and loose connections at the mirror and the control module
- 4If a fault is found, replace the signal wire. Otherwise try a new power door mirror as a test
- 5After the work, check that the mirror can be moved in both directions
