What does this fault code mean?
The control module has registered a break in the signal wire to the mirror motor for fold-in while the function is being used. The door mirror control then does not work.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal wire for the mirror fold-in
- Blown fuse
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuse for the mirror is intact and replace it if it is blown
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire for the mirror fold-in has no open circuit
- 3Look for damage, chafing and loose connections at the mirror and the control module
- 4If a fault is found, replace the signal wire. If no fault is found, try replacing the mirror
- 5After the work, check that the mirror folds in and out
