What does this fault code mean?
The control module has registered a short to ground in the cable when the turn signal in the door mirror is activated. The indicator in the mirror then does not work.
Possible causes
- Signal cable short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Look for chafing and damage on the cable to the indicator in the mirror
- 2Check the connector at the mirror for oxidation and poor contact
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal cable is not short-circuited to ground (the body). If a fault is found, replace the signal cable
- 4If no fault is found in the cable, try replacing the door mirror
- 5After the work, check that the turn signal in the mirror works when the indicator is used
