What does this fault code mean?
The passenger door module (PDM) has registered that a signal on the LIN bus between it and the rear door control module is faulty. The control module in the left or right rear door, depending on the steering side, is affected. The fault concerns communication between the doors and can therefore affect the electric windows and central locking.

- Communication interference
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try the windows and central locking in all doors to see which ones are affected by the fault
- 3Look for damage on the wiring between the passenger door and the rear doors, and check that the connectors are secure
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in the rear door control modules and see which of them have fault codes
- 5Remedy as needed, then road test the car to see whether the fault code returns

- Electric windows do not work, work reduced or work incorrectly
- Central locking with the button in the door panel does not work
- Locking and unlocking with the central locking does not work
- Switch indication does not work
