What does this fault code mean?
The front right door module feeds the puddle lamp in the right door mirror. The module has flagged a signal from the lamp output that is too low. The lamp in the right mirror then does not work.
Possible causes
- Power supply cable to the lamp short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Activate the lamp in the right mirror and see whether it lights
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the right mirror lamp is not short-circuited to ground (the body)
- 4Look at the wiring at the right mirror for chafing and moisture, and check that the connectors are secure
- 5Remedy as needed, then check that the right mirror lamp works afterwards
