What does this fault code mean?
The rear door control module powers the rear window lift. It has registered that the up relay for the rear window motor is inactive, although it should be active. The relay has stuck in the inactive position, and the electric window in the rear door then does not work.
Possible causes
- Relay stuck in the inactive position
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try raising the rear window from its switch to see whether it moves
- 3Check that the glass does not bind in its guides and that the connections to the window motor are secure
- 4Have a workshop check the up relay for the rear window motor and replace it if it is damaged
- 5Once the work is done, check that the window rises from the switch and that the fault code does not return
