What does this fault code mean?
The rear door control module powers the window lift for lowering the rear window. It has registered that the down relay is active, although it should be inactive. The relay is stuck in the active state, so the electric rear door window does not work.
Possible causes
- Relay stuck in the active state
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try the rear window in both directions from its switch and note how it behaves
- 3Check that the glass does not bind and that dirt is not blocking its guides
- 4Have a workshop check the relay that controls the down motor for the rear window
- 5After the work, check that the rear window works from its switch and that the fault code does not return
