What does this fault code mean?
The control module in the front door powers the window lift. It has registered that the up relay for the window motor is inactive, although it should be active when the window is raised. The relay is stuck in the inactive state, and the window lift then does not work.
Possible causes
- Relay stuck in the inactive state
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try raising the front window from its switch to see whether it moves
- 3Check that the glass does not bind in its guides and that the motor connections are secure
- 4Have a workshop check the up relay for the window motor in the front door
- 5When it is repaired, raise and lower the front window and confirm the fault code does not return
