What does this fault code mean?
The control module in the front door powers the window lift that lowers the front window. It has registered that the down relay for the window motor is inactive, although it should be active when the window is lowered. The relay is stuck in the inactive state, so the window lift does not work.
Possible causes
- Relay stuck in the inactive state
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try lowering the front window from its switch to see whether it moves
- 3Check that the glass does not bind and that nothing is blocking it in its guides
- 4Have a workshop check the down relay for the window motor in the front door
- 5Once repaired, lower and raise the front window and make sure the fault code stays away
