What does this fault code mean?
The front door module powers the window lift. It has registered that the down relay for the window motor is active, although it should be inactive. The relay has jammed in the active position, and the front window lift then does not work.
Possible causes
- The relay has jammed in the active position
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Try the front window from its switch in both directions and note how it reacts
- 3Check that the glass does not bind and that nothing blocks it in its guides
- 4Have a workshop check the down relay that drives the front window motor
- 5Once repaired, test the front window from its switch and confirm the fault code does not return
