What does this fault code mean?
Although the code refers to invalid data from a door control module, the fault concerns the right camera module (RCM). The front right door module communicates with it over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when internal parts of the right camera module do not work, and then the LED does not light.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the camera module
What you can do
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact
- 2Test drive the car and check whether the right-hand blind spot warning works
- 3With a diagnostic tool, you can see which fault codes the right camera module has stored
- 4Look for damage and loose connections in the wiring to the camera module
- 5If the wiring is fine, have a workshop check or replace the camera module, since the fault is inside it
